Tesla CEO Elon Musk was forced to step down as chairman following a SEC lawsuit that was spurred by his oversharing on Twitter. Compared to other top American CEOs, Musk is perceived as more Authentic, but is seen as being in the bottom 28% on Reliability. Authenticity and transparency is important, but it's even more important to be multi-dimensional.

It's also incredibly important to remember that any CEO’s brand has impact on the company they lead, but having a leader that is more closely associated to a brand's identity can mean even greater implications in times of controversy.
